Privacy statements

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) we are obliged to publish privacy statements for all members of our school community as we process a lot of data. The GDPR is a legal framework from the EU that took effect in May 2018 and it is designed to accomplish two main things:

  1. Unify the current data protection privacy laws throughout the EU
  2. Enhance the rights of citizens of the EU to protect their personal information

We have always taken the protection of personal data very seriously, but now we are doing it in the same way in all the European Schools so that we can all be compliant with the GDPR. In these privacy statements you can see how we collect and share data, and there is information about what to do if you are not in agreement. We now have a Data Protection Officer Correspondent in our school who can respond to any questions or concerns you may have, and the contact details are provided in the privacy statements.
