Traffic around the school

Things are not as bad as in the picture, but we are doing what we can to make the school as safe as possible for your children, both inside and out. From time to time we have to contact everyone in the school community because of the traffic situation, and here are some reminders:

  1. Cyclists – be very careful with the cycle pathways around the school. We have worked to make things easier but there are still some improvements we would like the council to make, and be careful with the new posts in the road opposite the sports hall.
  2. Cars and other vehicles driving the wrong way along Molenweidtje – we often see this and the police look out from time to time. People doing this are putting everyone in danger.
  3. Parking – in front of the school it has become easier, but we still have complaints from the neighbours from people who park on the rotunda, and in the side-streets off the Churchillaan where cars are parking on the corners and on the grass – making things dangerous for everyone, and also causing damage. It is 2 or 3 minutes walk away, but it is always possible to park at De Beeck.

Thanks for your cooperation!
